NEW SAFARIS LAUNCHED  BIG 5 - MALARIA FREE CAPE POT POURRI

We transform your journey between magnificent destinations into the ultimate experience. On "journey days" we like to fly for approx. 3 hours during which time we have the most incredible fun....stopping along the way to experience - first hand - the beauty of South Africa's geography and geology; to absorb the history, mix with the rainbow culture and view the macro- and micro biology. Guests can also get a better understanding of the environment with the inter-action of nature, from the smallest insect, plant and flower, through to the largest trees, rivers, mountains and animals. Flying in a helicopter is a quantum leap in travel, for one can stop anywhere...anytime....to touch, feel and taste all that you are experiencing - all because one is in a helicopter.

The journey has become a kaleidoscope of new values, memories and the 5th Dimension....emotion.

THE 5TH DIMENSION RAIN QUEEN HELICOPTER SAFARI

Starting in Johannesburg, we fly north over Soutpan, one of the largest meteorite craters in Africa. Skimming across the Springbok Flats, we reach the unspoiled wilderness of Welgevonden Private Game Reserve. Here in this malaria-free heart of the Waterberg, qualified rangers will accompany you on game drives and bird walks.

Whilst staying at exclusive accommodation, savour culinary masterpieces under a star-lit sky, absorb the atmosphere of the Waterberg and re-live the search for the "Famous Five".

Leaving this magic, your helicopter bears you away to sacred Lake Fundudzi, where from the air, we can but imagine its myths and secrets, for no one but royalty may walk therein. Follow the Mutale River to where it joins the Luvuvhu river and land at The Outpost for an outstanding Zen experience.

Head South to a huge baobab where thirsts are slaked in the pub IN the tree. Visit the mystical Rain Queen, Modjadji and the famous Cycad Forest where history, tales and myths will be revealed. Picnic sumptuously beside the lovely Debegeni Falls.

Whisk over the Wolkberg and traverse the Lowveld hills to a Country Lodge for a spot of poolside relaxation. Consider a picnic dinner at the 'Barn-Yard' theatre in the evening. Then, after breakfast, take off once more and gaze in awe at God's Window, see the stunning Blyde River Canyon and drop in at the historic gold rush town of Pilgrims Rest. Track the valleys to Dullstroom to enjoy lunch before the final leg to Johannesburg.
